By far, the most fun frock in our collection, Fir Fir is a staple in Punicana's collection, done in various fabrics each season, but always with the super fun fringe V-back. Elastic waist, balloon sleeves and a tiered hem...and just mini enough! Made of hand-loomed ikat fabric, 50% silk/ 50% cotton, that is just exquisite to the touch.
Fun Facts: You won't see authentic Ikat fabrics in many clothing lines as the difficult and slow production, coupled with the high cost of the fabric, is not cost efficient enough for big commercial brands to maintain their huge margins. But Turkish designer Everin Dogankay has, with Punicana, made it a bit more accessible, and loves that her pieces take you from beach to cocktail hour. Oh, and least we forget they are both eco-friendly and sustainable. Win, Win, Win!
